The Ready-Heat™ Disposable Medical/Emergency Heated Blanket has been produced in a variety of sizes that are being manufactured using synthetic non-woven fibers. These potentially life saving blankets come individually sealed in an oxygen free protective poly-bag. When the Poly-bag is opened, the contents of the sealed in heating elements react with the oxygen in the atmosphere and generate heat. The heat that will be generated will provide sufficient warmth and comfort to the user for several hours.

All Ready-Heat™ blankets are water repellent and provide for UV protection. Aids in the prevention of Hypothermia in trauma patients. Ready-Heat™ offers a convenient, ready to use blanket that remains warm to 104° Fahrenheit (40° C) for approximately 6-8 hours. Ready-Heat™ has now been approved by the FDA. Ready-Heat™ 4 panel and 6 panel Blankets warm to 104° F within 20-40 minutes after unsealing from it's vacuum package and will maintain that temperature for up to 8 hours. These 2 blankets are also suitable as an evacuation litter and are designed to carry a person to weighing up to 250lbs.

TECHTRADE LLC also produces a one panel Ready-Heat™ mini blanket. It is currently being considered by the U.S. ARMY for a variety of purposes including warming IV fluid in the field where currently no practical product exists. In fact combat medics report that they place the IV units under their armpits for warming. The Ready-Heat™ mini blanket is adjustable with it's hook and loop attachments and is used to warm extremities (arms and legs) in pre-hypothermic victims.
